Track Winding Back Gundagai Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Case of 6)

The fruit was harvested and immediately transported to the winery. Primary fermentation took place in a stainless steel fermenter with pump overs taking place twice a day. At the end of fermentation, the wine was pressed off skins and put to oak to undergo maturation for 12 months before being blended, filtered and bottled.

For the 2021 vintage, that magic has been delivered in wines with bright fruit and subtle power, lovely rounded tannins in the reds and ripe fruit acids in the whites. 2021 was a very cool year and one of the wettest on record for Gundagai. It saw fruit yield down by around 30% mainly due to the drought condition from the previous few years and disease pressure that comes with a wet year.
